Entry from: Coro, Venezuela Entry Title: "Bugs Bugs and More Bugs!" Entry: "We stepped off the bus, tired and weary, to scorching heat. It was 6 in the morning. We arrived at our pre-booked hostel half an hour later, searching whilst the sun bore down on us, for the bell we were told to ring on arrival. There was none. After hiding in the shadow of the door debating for 10 minutes on what we should do, the door opened and there stood, in only his boxers, Eric the hostel owner and behind him the bell. Grunting hello Eric showed us to our room and then disappeared presumably back to bed. Whilst I collapsed on the bed in the room, which I swear was hotter than outside, Andy began to notice the number of Mozzies, Spiders and Cockroaches adorning the floor, walls and ceiling. In seconds Andy had changed from normal backpacker to top class pest exterminator with all the tools of the trade (torch, hands, book, shoe). Not wanting to spoil his fun (or get involved) I shut my eyes to exclamations of "that´sa huge one", "come on, out of the room" and "damn, it went under the bed". Eventually realising that I would not get any sleep until all bugs were either killed or escorted from the room, I opened my eyes and found Andy sweeping the walls with his torch killing Mosquito´s on sight.
